If you haven’t guessed by now I am just going to have to ruin the secret- I am Nicholas Freeman; a freelance photographer in Santa Monica, California.

I specialize in creative photography and love constructing images that evoke feeling or give life to concepts and ideas. I also completely enjoy working with interesting and imaginative people. Some of my most fun projects to date have been doing covers and press packages for musicians. Because they are creative themselves they have a style of their own, and when you combine their style and mine you create something that is totally unique and original.

I have always been creative, but never had a true calling until I got my first camera. I have dabbled and tried my hand at drawing and painting, sculpture, music, and even video. None of them stole my heart the way that photography did though. Photography is my one true love, and I don’t think there is any way to say that.

After playing with photography for a while and realizing that it was the love of my life I went back to school and got commercial training and a degree in photography. Since then I have done several galleries and publications including album and book covers.

Believe it or not though, I still find time for a life out side of photography. I am an avid bicyclist, I enjoy going to live music events and art galleries of all types, and spending time at the beach like the Southern California resident I am.
